THE SCIENTIFIC VIEW

The scientific view closely supports the biblical view of the creation with particular reference to the Kabbalistic concepts of Ayin (Nothingness) and Ein Sof (Without End).

Telescopic to EIN SOF
According to the astronomers, who have been using stronger and stronger telescopes, as illustrateds below, probing further and further into the distant heavens, the Universe is forever expanding, getting bigger and bigger, at the speed of light and ‘without end’ or EIN SOF. The universe appears to have started to expand from an initial explosion, the Big Bang , since when it has never stopped expanding.

The Ancient Sages were good astronomers and they must have known that no matter how much they expanded the sphere of their awareness they could not reach the Divine. We can profitably repeat their imaginative exploration of space in the same way, by imagining expanding the sphere of diagram Fig 1 to the size of this room and then beyond the room to the whole of London and beyond London to the United KIngdom, the whole earth, the planets, sun and galaxies to Ein Sof. (see biblical view). Who can get a notion of the incredible vastness of the Universe. Our Galaxy which is but one of millions, the Milky Way, alone, is 1,000,000 LIGHT YEARS in diameter, according to NASA http:

//imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/ask_astro/answers/001205a.html

Yet the ancient sages knew that despite this vastness there is still God of the Universe containing the whole Universe

The scientists know that the universe is still expanding because they see that the distances between the galaxies is constantly getting larger. This expansion, without end, Ein Sof is still taking place at the speed of light.

Microscopic to AYIN
The point in the centre of the circle, is a geometrical shape of no dimension and as such it is a good representation of Ayin, which simply means nothingness,. To understand AYIN which is at the other end of the spectrum from Ein Sof, we have to look at some very simple but fundamental nuclear physics. We have to be like little children and/or high power scientists, forever breaking up our toys, the physical universe, to see how it works. The scientists look at our physical world through increasingly powerful microscopes, as illustrated below, trying to reach the ultimate building blocks of the universe. They break down our physical world into smaller and smaller units or atoms. Modern science has enabled the scientists to break down the atoms into even smaller particles, called sub-atomic particles, using powerful particle accelerators to probe deeper into the structure of the atom. Now we have almost reached the end of the line, by succeeding to split the atom itself and unleashing devastating atomic energy from a Pandora’s box; energy which may be used to supply electricity for humanity or to make atomic bombs to destroy humanity.

THE ANCIENT CHINESE SAGES

The Ancient Chinese Sages also already knew, from their understanding of YIN and YANG, that this Ayin , nothingness, or VOID, as they called it, contains the energy of TEN thousand SUNS. They also knew that Nirvana was another name for the one and only divine power that included everything.

THE BIG BANG

One of the most persistently asked questions has been:

How was the Universe created?.

It is believed that the Universe started with a Big Bang. This means that suddenly unknown matter exploded into space. This unknown substance became the planets and Galaxies of the Universe. The energy of this explosion is still active today, millions or billions of years later manifesting as the Expanding universe

The origin of the Big Bang theory can be credited to Edwin Hubble. Hubble made the observation that the universe is continuously expanding The scientists are unanimous in their agreement that the universe is continuously expanding by observing the “ red shift” Furthermore it expands at the speed of light and t
o this day, billions of years later, the force of that explosion continues with the "continuous expansion of the universe".

Just as the Big Bang provided for the foundation of the universe, Hubble's observations provided for the foundation of the Big Bang theory.

The BEGINNING

What was before the big Bang? The scientists know a great deal about how the creation came into being, but they cannot clarify what happened in the very beginning.

The scientists have struggled to reach the BEGINNING of creation by theoretically reversing the process of "expansion" to its opposite, meaning a process of contraction. They are able to reach to a few billionths of a second after the BEGINNING of creation but, not surprisingly, they cannot penetrate that first few billionths of a second.

Why can't they get any closer?

Because the scientists cannot identify God’s Will and His Desire to create the universe.

Something which arose in this unknown first billionth of a second. Our ancient sages knew a little more about it when they say creation started from"Yesh mi Ayin" translated to , "something from nothing" .

The Kabbalistic texts also say that creation, YESH, started from Nothingness AYIN.

They knew that God was infinite, without any limitation and without end, 'Ein Sof'. The universe can never be bigger than God. We can not think of anything bigger than the universe and yet we know that God is bigger than the Universe because we speak of “God of the Universe”. The greatest paradox that we have yet to learn about, is that AYIN is the complimentary view of EIN SOF.

The latest theory

It has been believed up to now that the universe will continue to expand , but the latest theory from Professor Paul Frampton suggests something different. Professor Frampton and his colleagues from UCN College of Art and Science postulates a cyclical model that includes "expansion, turnaround, contraction and bounce" . The theory suggests that after the expansion, contraction takes place. A continuous change, rather than an initial beginning. But, one is then still left with the question of how it all began, a question which the big bang theory endeavours to answer. Watch this space !!!.

Connection between LIGHT, BLACK HOLES, AYIN -- EIN SOF, GALAXIES

The Universe exists between the Absolute Nothing and the Absolute All. Between Ayin and EinTSof. The scientists tell us that the Galaxies contains numerous black holes, with an especially large Black Hole in the centre of our Galaxy, the Milky Way. From the Black Hole of nothingness at the centre of the galaxy to the unending, expanding universe, all is contained within God of the Universe. Should we consider whether the Creation could have started from a Black hole? At this point you may be asking, "What is a Black Hole?" This is a both complicated and vast subject.

A simple explanation is that a Black Hole is a place in the Universe which has an enormously high compressive effect on the vast spaces in the atom, compressing all the minute sub-sub atomic particles together so that if the Planet Earth was sucked into a Black Hole it would be compressed into nothing bigger than a grain of sand. Quite shocking! A good question might be, "How come Planet Earth and our whole solar system do not get sucked into a Black Hole? The answer is that the Universe is so vast that our solar system can escape the gravitational pull of a Black Hole.

The nothingness is like the black sky, which is the space present between the planets and is exactly the same space as that between the electrons in orbit around the nucleus of the atom and between the subatomic particles.

The allness of the expanding universe, contains collections of Galaxies, satellite planets, planet earth and its moon and numerous other celestial bodies.

How can we understand Blackhole gravitational force?

The gravitational forces of the black hole in the centre of the Galaxy are powerful beyond comprehension. The atom is mainly or altogether only space, as the scientists have explained to us, and, as can bve seen in the simple diagram below.

There is ample room for compression of the atom or solar system.

It is said that the whole of our planet could be compressed into the size of a few small grains.

The vast space between the planets and between the planets and the Sun is identical to the space between the electrons in orbit around the nucleus of the atom.

This space can be compressed and this is what happens to the space due to gravitational compression in a black hole.

The scientists emphasis that even light cannot escape from a black hole, but correspondingly, God‘s first creation on the first day , was light, Genesis 1:3, which astonishingly, is different from the light which comes from the sun which was only created on the 4th Day. Genesis 1:14 -18. Does this explanation suggest that even the light produced on the first day could not escape from the Black Hole. Could the creation have started from the release of condensed matter from a black hole suddenly expanding with explosive force.

The latest studies suggest that over 80% of the universe is black matter and black space. It is not yet certain how the black holes at the centre of the galaxy relate to black space or black energy
